The Credit Union Visa Check Card--
It works just like a check. Only better. In response to so many member
requests, your Credit Union has introduced the Visa Check Card. Often
called a debit card, a Visa Check Card works just like a check, only
better. Use it instead of cash, credit, or writing a check wherever
Visa is accepted at millions of merchants all over the world. The amount
of the purchase will be automatically deducted from your Credit Union
checking account. It's safer than carrying a large amount of cash and
easier than traveler checks. Use It Everywhere A Visa Check Card is
convenient and safe to use when traveling or for everyday use. Just
present you Card to any retailer that accept Visa, such as gas stations,
gift shops, hotels, and restaurants.

An ATM Card Too--
A Visa Check Card is also an ATM card. Use it to get cash, make
transfers, or even check your balance at ATMs everywhere. Just
look for the Cirrus or Visa symbol at more than 500,000 ATM locations
worldwide. |

Individual Retirement Account (IRA)--
Your credit union offers three types of IRA's: Traditional, Roth, and
Education. An IRA share account is a type of retirement plan that qualifies
for special tax treatment. Under regular contribution limits, a member
may contribute 100% of compensation up to an alloted amount in a traditional IRA.
There is an annual feeof $25.00 and a $50.00 per withdrawal fee. Deposits are insured
by one of the most stable deposit insurance agencies in the United States
(NCUA). Please feel free to contact us and request IRA brochures.
Certificates of Deposit--
Share certificates are available in any amount ranging from $2,000 to
$250,000 at a one year or 36-month maturity. Dividends are compounded
quarterly.
Loans--
The credit union will loan money for any good reason to any member who
qualifies. The making of loans to members is the principle business
of your credit union. Our loan application is available online.
Credit Disability Insurance--
According to the Research Council for Economic Security, one out of
every three people between the ages of 35-60 will probably suffer a
long-term disability. If you become one of these statistics, your loan
payments could become a real burden. That's why your Credit Union makes
this voluntary insurance available to you. The plan begins making monthly
loan payments after a 30 day period. Premiums are based on the unpaid
balance of the loan and are added to the loan balance monthly.
Credit Life Insurance--
Credit Life Insurance is protection that every borrowing member can
and should afford. The cost is very reasonable and the premiums are
added every month to the existing loan balance. The insurance will pay
the principle balance of your loan if you die before your loan is paid
off. If you select joint coverage, coverage is provided in the event
of the death of either you or your joint insured (usually your spouse).
